Sad day for me
I need to fund the next project*

Any recommendation for good sales sites for this car at that price?
*Imagine a Porsche 911 running up the arse of a Citroen DS23 - Citrong?

Great advert Nick !
Think you could create your own sales platform for your car and probably open it up to the sale of other high end classics such as yours ! You know you're good on a computer, just set it up !

Hire car is broken,
Probably not broken, they all feel like that or if it is more exciting then add photos :-)
Hope it doesn't spoil the holiday

I remember the first time I saw that.
I could never work out how the audio related to the video..
It didn't help that my physics teacher used it to show the class the difference between reality and perception, playing it first with the screaming engine and tyres squeals and then playing it again while he did a slow, steady and quite funny driving instructor talking the driver through the route. I still remember how much slower it seemed with him saying things like "As we approach the L'arc the Triumph I would like you to merge with the traffic and proceed ahead...
Anyway, I guess the audio was from your Fiat hire car - When an F1 driver was asked what the fastest car he ever drove was, he replied "Any hire car"

Typos in my advert are cut and paste from the magazine articles :-)
A couple of renderings I have found that are sort of like my idea for the DS911 are okay as a guide I guess.

Apart from the challenge and the buzz from owning something different, buy a Panamera- it looks similar.
I have a friend who has a Nissan Stagea which is a hot estate car. Most people think it's a Volvo...

Tried a Panamera and it seemed big, cumbersome and a bit dull - apart from the Turbo which was a giggle on full gas.
Okay, this is mostly for the challenge of an interesting project but a Carrera 2 reskinned in carbon should be a bit lighter and quite tuneable enough to make it fun. I will be getting the e-class convertable for wife and taxi duties so don't need to be particularly practical with this one. Just a bit of fun.

Weird - it keeps truncating my posting if I type in numbers twenty and then the letter K preceded by the pound sign

All I need to do then is glue together some polystyrene roof insulation, carve and sand to shape making sure it is perfectly symmetrical and matches a design that doesn't exist outside my mind. Then a bit of gloop and some carbon fibre cloth and we are almost done. Doors might just get left alone, roof will have a skin like the Tribute 250 doors so that I can integrate the ice-cream cone lights and the back end either same as the front or some kind of skin depending on what I decide to do.
How hard can it be for a first timer?

Oh, posted this on the bodywork thread as well to show it won't look like a Panamera with its ugly roof bulge and fat arse
