thanks for the link, I didn't think of that
The fun will come when the "E-Bay Idiots" see it and start to ask stupid questions

I had to up-date the advert on "Car and classic" as I put it in the wrong section
Here the new link http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C684136
I'll add some more photos later.

Any update on the Alpha I saw it on a visit to Chris.
The pictures don't do it justice

I agree, I think it really is stunning.
I see it as Daimler Dart rear (although that's a genuine MGA boot lid).
MGA profile.
Ferrari Front
I can't wait to see it in paint
No up-date as there are a lot of things happening that get in the way of life!!!
Still hope to have the prototype ready for Stoneleigh

Finally I found time and a dry day to bring the car home as it's getting knocked about in the workshop
It drove well and the new brakes feel much better, but it still needs some "road development" as the new wheels rub on full lock and the fuel gauge reads wrong!!Anything below half is empty
Yes, I ran out of petrol right on the round about in heavy traffic during the school run.
I was so thankful I fitted 4 way hazards lights.
I can honestly say there is no way of gracefully exiting a SAMMIO when everybody around you is staring at you, pointing at you, sounding there horn or trying to get around you
Still it was nice to have so many other road users stop and offer some help, or have a dig.
The car should be much safe at home in the garage.
Unfortunately E-Bay is looming as investment is needed, shame as it fits so well.

Well, it's now on E-Bay.
Wrong time of the year but we'll see.

Just realized this finishes Christmas day and I don't think it will fit under a Christmas tree

The new Sammio looks like a VAST improvement, especially as it doesn't appear to suffer from the nose-heavy profile that rather detracts from the original cars.

Hey Mr Towed, not intended to offend, but hard to deny, surely?

Okay, who'd want a nose heavy car after all?
Shocking.

Clearly a nerve touched then. You obviously like the appearance of the Sammio in profile, I do not. Gary's original car had far better balance in it's lines. Just a subjective thing, we'll have to agree to disagree. I wish Micky every success with the new one. Moving on...

Not sure where you are coming from with your comments, first you say Micky,s car a VAST improvement then Gary's car had better lines, are you slating the scoop that the bigger engine requires? Toweds car has evolved around his build if you didn't mean to offend why persist with the provocative response.
