No apologies needed Mike(or eneyone else),i don't think mr.T.did it on purpose........i just feeled a bit awkward seeing the SS symbol 10 minutes before 20.00hours........at this time there is a big memorial event on the telly with our king and queen putting flowers at the national monument in Amsterdam and the whole nation having 2 minutes of silence........
Don't like the logo for a Sammio enyway.........

Apologies for the timing Rene, it was just meant to be a light hearted and vaguely cheeky suggestion, I didn't expect it to be taken seriously.
We have our own day of remembrance on 11th November - armistice day at the end of WWI, during which the Netherlands remained neutral btw (and very sensibly so too, nine members of my own family would have lived full lives beyond their teens and early twenties if we'd stayed out of that slaughter).
As for your national day of mourning for WWII, there isn't a date in the Gregorian calender when the Nazi's didn't murder someone, so the timing could never be 'right' for the humourous use of National Socialist emblems.
However, we Brits have a grand tradition of finding humour in the darkest of circumstances, 'Allo Allo' and Dad's Army being just two examples of second world war sitcoms that were huge successes both here and in Europe.
So, I appreciate that your country was occupied by the Nazis and our wasn't (thankfully or the US of A wouldn't have had anywhere to launch D-Day from and then we'd probably all still be under Nazi rule), but the emblems themselves were not evil, just the people that wore them whilst engaging in industrialised mass murder.
And there's even reason to take some hope for humanity from those dark days -

I always thought the gordon keeble badge stood out. Maybe using that concept. Also the the gordon stevens the light car company rocket badge has an excellent badge concept.
what do want the sammio car company to stand for?

Not sure how it would look but the outlike of a sammio body over/around/above the word sammio.
Seems to sum what you do. maybe some verical flash lines showing the body dropping fast!

I like this one.
Clean and distinctive.
The black parts could be cut out and the graduated grey blasted but not cut. I think it could be set in an oval too?

Agree that's the best looking one so far imho.
To give it a more Italian feel I'd precede the Sammio script with the words 'Designo di' as in this Pininfarina badge and put the wings above the script -

How about this, change the type and swap the flag? nice shape, colourful and would look smart.
Just a mock up.
