Many thanks to Kidge and Carol for organising this great drive-out today. A pub lunch followed by a 35 mile drive through Hants ending up at the Whitchurch Silk Mill for tea and biscuits. Five Tributes, one DNA, one Sebring and three donors (a Z3 and and 2x MX-5) seen in total.

Default Owners Day

Tribute Owners and Automotive Group Day:

Ten cars and eleven people congregated in the Pelican Inn's spacious car park at Froxfield beside the 'old' A4

We enjoyed a social hour or so before sitting down to a pretty good light lunch. The pub was welcoming and friendly and after each person settled their bill, we drove over to the Silk Mill at Whitchurch, via Burbage, The Collingbournes, Oxenwood and Hustbourne Tarrant. Traffic was light on this relaxed route and we met up with 'Drummajor' for tea. The cafe serves good teas & coffees along with cakes and snacks. Worth a visit if you are in the area.

Next year how about a one night [Saturday] weekend at a reasonably comfortable hotel in north west Wiltshire ? Mid-June perhaps ?

putting this here for everyone's info.
Grassbank conversions (U.K.) has been a great source of specialty parts for the 250 SWB kits. Today, I received a beautiful polished stainless steel grille surround that is fantastic looking and fits perfectly. Many other FRP parts are available as well as electric window kits.

Go here:
orders@grassbankconversions.co.uk
request quote for stainless steel grille surround. About 475 GBP if I remember correctly. Long lead time (about a month). I'll get a couple of photos to you this evening (USA). Beautiful piece.
