moot and lights

possibly old age, mot tomorrow, engine not running all lights are ok, side, main, full, spot and fog, when engine is running front sidelights go out, full dipped etc are all ok, any ideas?

The majority of electrical problems are down to poor earths. Suggest you check the earth path for the sidelights.
