Default

Mine's an auto.

It is a good 'box with smooth pickup. The sports button means it holds the gears rather than shifting up when it wants.

The 'box is a GM unit and although BMW say it is 'sealed for life' with fluid that never deteriorates, GM reckon you should refresh it every so often. I posted a thread somewhere on here about how to change the fliud and filter on the 'box. It is cheap and easy to do so I would recommend doing it when you get the car.

Here is a clip showing you the performance. You can see / hear how smooth the shift is : https://youtu.be/fARuk-nx3Pw
