as luck wd have it the gear lever (not just the knob) sheared in my mirage countach right outside my home after a lovely run out ... but!
then as i am a radio ham .. rather miffed about this .. i went on vhf radio and found a new station i had never talked to before selling a ford 'ka' with aircon in 1998 siver with 27k miles left hand drive.. EXACTLY
======= what i was after .. as a shopping car and to keep costs down !i trust that if anyone reads this new thread that some goodwill etc will rub off .
it has cheered me so much i am now about .. at 1 o clock in the morning ... going to get absolutely paralytic as i am not driving for a while!
