I'll be there on Sunday, with (shock horror!) my better half in tow. I asked if she wanted to go, and she said yes!

I guess she doesn't trust me and the credit cards un-chaperoned...

Just had a look at the exhibitors list that was posted - Is Marlin not turning up then? I've searched the PDF file, and the only mention of Marlin was the owners club...

I understand Marlin will not be there. I guess it would have been difficult for them having just moved factory. A pity all the same...

Patrick,
just watched the BBC news. Looks like there is a good chance of you getting a good soaking on either day.

Maybe not such a good idea to take the car out without a hood fitted.

We will all have to wait to later in the year to see your pride and joy.

Peter

Monday looks like the better of 2 bad days this morning...

I live about 30 miles away and it's awful grey outside!!!

Shame if the weather does stop you coming patrick - I was going to park mine next to yours and see if we could start a trend for unpainted sportsters!!!

Spent the last week painting over rust spots, polishing bits, making the start of a boot lid and fitting the sportster side plates.

You know, all those little things that I'd been putting off until the shows started!!

Andy

It's grey here but no rain, the forecast looked rubbish this morning.

Had a potential builder stop by today so taken him and his son out for a drive around. Hopefully see some of you tomorrow.

Shall we say 13:00 at the owners club stand? Even if its rubbish tomorrow I'll still come up in the tin top

I was there a 12 Noon, but didn't see any of you... Not many sportsters there either.

There didn't seem to be many exhibitors there this year - certainly less than '07.

Was good too see, we didn't arrive until after 12 - ended up setting off in the rain but that started clear up as we got near Oxford. Luckily it was quite nice the rest of the day

How was the run back - temperature wise? I guess the ambient was warmer than on the way up.

Robin

PS I hope you managed to get back without any more birds target practising ;-)
