I popped up to the classic car restoration show today with both my sons and it was a good do! Twice as many people there as last year, twice as many classic cars in the car park and many more "real" autojumble people as well as all the cheepo tool types.

I also spotted skippy in the car park and managed to say hello to Pat. Sorry i couldn't stay and gossip longer matey, but trying to keep my two little-uns under control is like hearding cats!

I picked up a bike style tax disc holder, oil pressure gauge, new smaller front indicators and a load of other useful bits and bobs.

If anyone is thinking of going tomorrow i'd heartily recommend it, especially if it's dry as there were loads of Triumph bits-n-bobs and load of assorted other odds-n-sods to dig through to personalise your cars with. e.g There were some really nice rear lights in amongst the jumble! and some really cool gauges and dials.

Seeing as the nights are starting to slowly get longer and a number of people are already on the road and some of us are nearing completion i've started thinking about where to go this year.

So taking bits from all the threads, i've compiled the below and it looks as though the calendar is looking good for 2012, although this is a bit SW biased due to obvious reasons

Good job Dave.

No complaints about it being SW orientated

I've only just put the deposit down on my Spyder kit, so will try and make the shows in it from Stoneleigh on

My lads have booked my in for http://www.lemansclassic.com/en/the-village-show-is-on and I am certainly looking forward to it. Everything ready for us to go, was a bit concerned about my car going on the ferry at first. Booked our tickets to Calais, they have arrange for someone at the port to get a special ramp out, we just need to get there ealy to avoid traffic and the rush.
Have finished some body work so hopefully all goes well and the weather doesnt ruin this day!
