If you have all the bits and parts ready to go, it's possible to have it road worthy in a weekend
Or thereabouts

I have a vague recollection of that situation. Best of luck and remember, it's fibre glass so can be repaired very easily.

Had big plans to get lots done this weekend.....but the weather put paid to that. I'm forced to work outside the garage for a few weeks. I swear ever time I started work, the heavens would open. Despite that.....I'm surprised at the progress I'm making on sanding and filling. I decided to make things complicated for myself by deleting the headlight recess that the covers sit in ( I have the covers also, but I reckon they can sit on top of the bodywork and a chrome strip can run round the outside of them to semi flush them). And definetly looks sharper lines when not using the covers or if they break in the future.
I think the flash line on top of the front wings will be the most difficult to get right, but will get there in the end.

Made some good progress today after work. Filled the headlight lip flush, and am happy with the sharper lines.
