This one didn't sell at £1,800, probably because you could put the package together yourself for less than that. Relisted at £1.00 start though but an unknown reserve is set. I'm guessing £1,800...

Looks like the Silver Navigator demonstrator went for £4,101.
( Obviously I was hoping an unfinished project was worth £10,000. )
Jokes aside, I hope the new owner will sign up here so we can see it finished.
Mr T - I also thought that Spyder/Herald ad. was odd given there was no frame work.

Nope, that's a new one on me. It's always a shame to see unfinished projects for sale, but perhaps some buyers have underestimated the level of commitment it takes to finish a Sammio build. You don't just bolt one of these together, you actually have to build the thing.

I like that in that colour ..looks like a decent build and equates to about £10,000 stirling ...

Rather nice looking Spyder going on ebay -
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Triumph-Sa...oAAOSwYmZXOIxx
It's got some very nice touches like Pininfarina badges on the sides, oval numberplate/third brake light etc. Sure I've seen those somewhere before...
Just noticed the Civic radiator and the alloy bonnet pins. Spooky...

The one shown above that failed to sell on ebay was collected last night and is on its way to Italy as I type ...
I have just heard of another one heading to Germany today as well .....
The low pound is definitely working out for some people !!

Nothing to do with me, but I saw this Herald for sale on Rods 'n' Sods.
http://www.rodsnsods.co.uk/forum/veh...-saloon-459777
Price has been reduced to £2,000 and it actually has a 1,147cc engine.

Nice early example to give the car an early feel ...arguably a bit too nice and rare to modify ...£2000 may seem like a lot of money for a donor Herald but if you think about it , full chassis and running gear , pedals , steering etc. its still a deal compared to other kit options ..
Those early chassis are slightly different , the box is flat and wide as opposed to the later , taller and narrower rails - I found that out the hard way !!
