Default In my yoof!

Years ago I saw a kit car in a magazine called the "Tici Citi"
Does anyone know what I mean?
Did anyone have one?
Are there any left?

It was based on the mini, a 2 seater, and I remember it was bright yellow!

Shame on you John.
The TiCi wasn't a kit car though it was a genuine attempt at a mainstream car. They had Stirling Moss involved for the publicity and I think it was ORIGINALLY intended to be Triumph (Meriden) Motorbike engined, before it resurfaced as Mini based.

It would have had a better chance of striking a cord if it was called 'TiTTi CiTi'

Appropriate smiley anyone?

Default TiCi

INCREDIBLE!!!
No-one has replied to this in FOUR years?????!!!!!!
There is still a handfull of these cars around, albeit a small handfull!
I was interested in Anthony Hills TiCi back in 1972 when his prototype appeared in Magazines and on TV. The project was backed by RAYMOND MAYS and (Sir) STIRLING MOSS assisted with sales. The one that I purchased back then is now up in Scotland. I now own the car that appeared at the RACING AND SPORTSCAR SHOW 1973 also one of the cars that was sold off by the receivers after they moved in later that year.
Check out the attached pic... even smaller than a Fiat 126
