Thumbs up Thought Detling was a cracker

Didn't get to go both days unfortunately but managed the Sunday and thought it was the best show at Detling so far.

This is turning out to be a good season opener in the absense of Stafford.

The busiest I've ever seen it in terms of visitors and private cars turning up. The outside was crammed with cars with lots of photo opportunities (have over 300 more photos to upload to the galleries now )

People and cars started disappearing around 2pm so things looked at bit more sparse then but you still had the halls to go round and these didn't disapoint with a good 20-30 manufacturers turning up and loads of parts stalls to lighten your wallet.

Particularly impressed with the Nostalgia Cars range, excellent quality. Blown away by the quality of the British American Daytona (body, chassis, engine on display) Was good to see a descent Minataur display from Pilgrim.

My personal favourite was this....

Always had a soft spot for the NG TC V8 and this particular one was exceptional.

Was also quite taken by this one...

Not a kit I know but seems so right.

John

Hi John,

Thats Alan G's NGTC V8 cracking motor, it always gets a good audience. Nice to see you picked out an NG as one of your favourites.
Mark.

I thought it was a good show. My takings were up compared to last year!
