Default Steering Wheel adaptors - what do I need?

Okay, I know that the end nearest the car is a 1999 BMW Z3 steering column. My question is what size or pattern do I need at the wheel end?

It is six holes regularly spaced around the centre. The holes are 5cm apart and if you measure across the centre to the opposite hole then they are 10cm apart.

What is that in terms of PCD or manufacturers standard? I thought it was a Mountney spec wheel but now I am not sure.

All advice welcome.

Just been out (in the pouring rain) it seems to measure the same as my momo wheel which is mounted to a demon tweeks multi pattern boss on my Jeep, Have a look on eBay or ring demon tweeks they are helpful, if you need to bring the wheel closer too you you can add a removable boss kit too. Failing that try some american stores they keep much more stock. Good luck. Ed.

Mountney are 100mm (think it might be 101), I seem to remember they changed to match momo in the 90's (70mm ish), pretty much standard for aftermarket nowadays.

There aren't as many boss kits for the old style mountney.

After reading landmannnn's post I went and had another look with a torch, my boss and horn push is momo but the wheel is marked mountney on the back, I always thought it was a very old momo. It is mounted to an adapter plate then onto the boss, so I did some googling a z3 momo boss is around £45 and an adapter around £16. But you will have to do some measuring as to how far the boss and adapter will bring the wheel forward ,to make sÃ*qure its comfortable.

What I have done in the past is to re-drill holes in the existing boss
on the car, and just bolt the wheel straight on to it.
Sometimes involves some hacking about and re-modding, but usually do-able.
