This looks nice, Micky. Well done. Am a bit confused by the wording in the eBay advert: are you selling the project?

Triumph Special Just the car for sale but I added the last photo just in case some one what's to build there own.
Jeff H This was created from an existing body so it was "adjusted" rather than built in the traditional way, certainly no chicken wire or expanding foam here!.
It's been built over 2 years, passed 2 MOT's, driven about 500 miles, been towed on a "A" frame about the same mileage and spent a lot of that time as a table in my workshop so it's survived quite well up to now.

Yep that's the one, however, a few months ago I was asked to provide 3 "period" looking race cars for a photo shoot at Wroughton airfield , one red, one blue and one green .
But, I could only get hold of a blue one and two red ones hence the quick green paint job.

SOLD, SOLD for £5,551 to a classic car dealer from Tours in France.
The E-Bay listing had nearly 6,000 hits and over 500 watchers !!!!
I wonder what it will be sold for once registered in France

He's got his eye on the green Land Rover/42 Austin truck, a part built Spyder and wants me to call when the (long nose) "D" type is road worthy. So yes, hopefully he will be back.

One of the last things to do on the Sammio Alpha is to fit doors giving the customer the option of with-or-without doors.
As I now have 2 orders for Sammio Alpha's with doors it's time this is done.
Chris at Tribute has been busy with other things but has made a good start on the project and plans on completing the re-construction soon.
The door shuts will have nice returns and be reinforced through the sill areas.
The doors themselves will be double skinned for strength.
The main problem is adjusting the doors to tie in with the "A" and "B" posts. These both remain in place during the construction/conversion so it make sense to use them in combination with the door functions.
I was hoping to use Citroen 2CV door hinges but it's now becoming evident the hinges will need to be a bespoke set-up.

I like the curve on that door , from what I can see ...looks a bit Cobra-esque mixed with a bit of Cordite ?
I'd like to see a side shot of them

I think there a mix of Cobra and Miglia.
They could also be something Chris had knocking about that he's adjusted to fit, either way they look the part .

Yes , I see it now , a Cobra shut and outer skin has been modified ...Doors will certainly give it a lift , I love the original S*mmio's but the no frills body always kept the value of the kit and the finished car down ..to achieve higher prices , people expect to see more detail ...even if they still step over the top of them !!

Personally, I prefer a simple car with-out doors.
