Default Cheap "Smiths" gauges from India

I need to by a set of gauges for my current build. They need to be traditionally styled. In the past I have used genuine Smiths but the prices seem to have gone through the roof.
Does anyone have any experiance with the sets of Smiths replica gauges that appear on Ebay. A complete set is not a lot more than £30. Less than half the price of a single genuine Smiths gauge.

Cheers, Robin

Yes, I bought a set ! The mechanical gauges worked as did the volt meter but the fuel gauge and temp gauge didn't !
My advice would be to buy good set of used original gauges from ebay. Plenty on there to choose from .

OK - thanks. A good set of original used gauges would have been my choice but they were starting to get a bit thin on the ground on Ebay last time I looked.

Cheers, Robin
