As a beginner i am wondering when you build kit cars do you have instructions to buuild them or drawing to work from ?

In general, manufactures provide both instructions and drawings / photos in a "build manual". Quality and completeness seems to vary a lot and for my next build I will start by checking out the build manual before buying the kit

I don't have enough breadth of experience to answer that directly. I guess it does depend on your own level of knowledge and skill as to how easy or hard it is.

"Kit cars" are not, in my limited experience, like kits from a model shop where all parts are pre-cut, pre-drilled and ready to screw (or glue) together. You have to be prepared to be a bit "hands on". Read some of the threads posted on these boards and look at the photos of builds in progress.

Some manufactures will sell you the build instructions for a few quid (and some refund the cost if you buy the kit afterwards) so you can read through what it takes to build your potential car.
