Default 'Modern' Z300s

Just juggling some ideas, and I'm wondering (and would value opinions) on the merits of putting a recent rear light cluster on a Z300S..... With that 'round rear end' it looks like several will fit eg a Vauxhall Astra or (more costly) latest Range Rover. I'd avoid LED ones due to complexity issues, and also I've observed most LEDs have 'angle of visibility' issues. Would a similar approach (ie more recent lights) be required at the front to get a cohesive style?

Fancy rear lights have become a relatively cheap way of making cars look 'special'. Check out some of the 'budget brand' cars.

The Hyundai Shit Box 2* had some fancy integrated round ones with a star like effect. The challenge is that they are designed to sit flush with the body rather than surface mount. There are probably a few Mini options kicking around.

* Might not have been officially called the Shit Box, possibly Matiz?

My intention wouldn't be to highlight (no pun intended) the lights, just to modernise the overall appearance (maybe think TVR? ooer). I really dislike (for instance) the use of DRL's in different shapes to 'add bragging rights' to more up-market models. In fact I dislike DRL's on principle as they just introduce more danger to the roads long-term (as ROSPA pointed out before DRLs were introduced, but their views were ignored). Maybe SB is what Matiz means in it's manufacturer's land?

check out the bright blue Z300S that Nubodi did. That was a modern take on the car.

There are better pictures if you google a bit

Check out the JoeB Z300s build thread . Modern combination with lighting, colour and wheels. Looks like a modern twist on the design to me.
