Last year I sold a kit to Andy who is building a Vitesse / GT6 based car ...Vitesse chassis , engine and box and GT6 axle and suspension components ...well Andy wanted some changes to his frame and we duly obliged ...
I added some seat belt mounts , extra bracing on the fuel tank and stuff like that ..
Whilst it was here , Andy broke his wrist ! So has asked us to do some extra jobs like hang and latch doors , boot and bonnet , repair bulkhead , floor pans , fit some inner wings etc ...that sort of stuff .. here's some progress pictures in no particular order ....
Few hours on this one this week ...Fully boxed in boot floor and inner arches as well as radiusing the rear arches ..30'' overall , same as fronts and glassed an inner lip or return edge in place too using my templates ...
Front inner arches mounted - top half on bonnet ,
bottom half on chassis ... bonnet latches on ( the D type style quarter turns that are proving popular ) , few other jobs done T handle on boot , door skins bonded to frames fitted with CBS Bear claw latches , dash cut , gear stick remote extended , wooden fixing blocks glassed in to fit grille etc etc.. ..
