Default Windscreen sealant

I need to bond my laminated windscreen to my Sabre's GRP windscreen surround.
What make sealant do folks recommend?

Also, the surround is painted so do I need to prep this in anyway?

I used Mannol 9910 to secure my windscreen and headlights. That was two years ago and still holding...
Did not prep the paint edges. my logic is that if it sticks to glass, it won't have much problem sticking to paint.

Thanks for your feedback. I'd not heard of that stuff before but, on the whole, it seems to get lots of good reviews.

I used Sikaflex to bond the windows in my camper van. Don't remember which one but a quick Google should find it. And 3M seem to do a specific goo for windscreens.
Whatever you choose though make sure everything is to hand before you start.
I found I needed an industrial strength cartridge gun as the stuff I used was quite stiff. And a pack of Wonderwipes are super for cleaning up any goo in the wrong place - at least before it sets.
Cheers Robin
