New User Registrations - Please Read
Due to the amount of spam registrations the forum gets NEW user registrations are moderated and checked manually before being approved.
Although this does delay the opportunity to post I hope you will agree that it directly benefits the forum by eliminating spam posts which are generally unsavoury and a damn nuisance.
We will aim to moderate all new user registrations within 48 hours.
We are looking at alternative methods of user registration which will allow immediate posting but until we come up with a suitable method which the spam bots can't get around this policy will remain.
Thanks for your understanding.
John

Good news on this front.
We implemented another level of security for registrations which has meant we are able to take off the manual moderation of new registrations.
Tests so far are excellent, in that no spambot registrations have taken place since implementing this new level of security.
As it stands there should be no delay in new user registrations, it should all happen automatically and within a few minutes.
Cheers, John

Hi everyone
I am new to this forum. I had a beautiful Ranger kitcar, built by my brother way back, it was a real sadness when my husband (now ex) sold it. It had a 1293 Mini Cooper S full racing engine. He also built a 6 wheeled version of it with a cab front. At one time, we all had kit cars, my brother had a Dutton and a Magenta, then a Mini Marcos, I had the Ranger and my sister had the Dutton Phaeton.
I have a "sensible but boring" car now, and am looking to buy another Kit car if I can find one. I look forward to reading through your forum.

Traders ?
Hi there we are a small CAD CAM CNC company building carbon fibre badges and parts and are looking for extra work to take us into 2013.
Do you have a traders section we could become part of ?
I can provide links to a few sites that we work from but thought it best we ask first.
Regards

Sorry to sound stupid, but so I don't make any mistakes, what would be classed as 'Spam'?

Hiya,
Newbie here from New zealand. I hope this is the right place to post. I'd love to build either a Dino 246 replica or my own take on a LMP/Radical/Nissan NP35 (Oh such an awesome looking Lmp car that) type sports car.
I wanted to post on the V6 thread here...
http://www.madabout-kitcars.com/foru...1570#post81570
...but for some reason it wont allow me to? Do I have to post a few times in general discussion first or something?
Anyway.. loving many of the builds on here and hopefully sometime soon (money allowing) I can add my own :-)
Alex

There are some HUGE photos posted on that thread, so the reply screen matches their width.
So if you scroll to the right, you will eventually see the reply box appear.
Then you will be able to post as normal.
Hope that helps, Paul.
