I've just been catching up on your build and it's looking very tidy!
Out of interest, what is the chrome handbrake lever that you're using? Is it one of the Lokar ones?

I like that recessed filler idea! I'm not sure what i'm going to do this time around yet, so i may add this to my list of "stuff to ponder"
Is that a drain hole i can see drilled in it, in the 2nd pic?
I only ask as i got caught out a few times in the rain in my old Sammio and quickly learnt where i "should" have drilled drain holes

Not that I intend driving in the rain but yes drain hole seemed like a good idea can't imagine scooping out stagnant water. Borrowed friends mig today so hope to finish bulkhead this week end.

It is amazing just how many of us have learnt to weld in order to build our kits.
Good luck with the rest of it, Paul.

Thanks Paul. must admit making bits for the car is really enjoyable. But the wife wants me to spend more time at home to redecorate!

No doors, no problem.
Once these cars are painted and racing roundels are attached the expanse of 'side' is broken up sufficiently that nobody notices the lack of doors.
Getting in and out is very straightforward and there were no weeks of wasted effort faffing about trying to get the doors to fit.

I agree with Towed about the doors, but then again i was of the same thinking as you when i was building my Spyder, which is one of the reasons i went for the Miglia this time around as i want to play with doors!
The only problem i ever had with no-doors was how much i killed my old drivers seat during my year of driving it! So i'll be interesting to do a compare-n-contrast in a few months
