That really does look good on the move. Its size gives it quite a bit of the presence of a Mercedes 300SL.

Yes ...they are all long nose . The one above has been widened too . .the second wide body example . I really want to see a silver long nose twin hump car ...Maybe when the blue car sells I'll have to build one . .

But fix that that squeak!

Jokes aside, did your For Sale advert generate much interest?

The free carandclassic ad worked really well for me. You would need to be a little creative listing in the right section so it gets noticed.

I love the beautiful aerodynamic body, all swoopy curves, then, the barn door of a windscreen! No attempt at streamlining, obviously a reason for it. A gorgeous car.

Looks like it's possibly a modern addition for the comfort of the occupants, although quite why anyone would make it so upright (and ugly?) is anyone's guess.

Period pics show a variety of screens fitted, but this is the one from Moss's record breaking Mille Miglia win -

Much lower and more aerodynamic looking and, from experience with my Spyder, provides a similar amount of wind in the face protection to a low, full windscreen like you'll find on a Midget, 356 Speedster or early Spitfire.

Still a beautiful car though, perspex garden fence and all.
