Default Fuel Gauge Required for SVA

After scouring the internet, I haven't managed to find if a fuel level gauge is a requirement for the SVA.
If it is does it have to be dash mounted?
Thanks in advance.

As far as I can see, the regulations make no stipulation regarding being able to monitor the fuel level:

IVA rule book here:
https://assets.publishing.service.go...r-vehicles.pdf

Had the briefest of looks and couldn't see a fuel gauge requirement.
(Although there did seem to be an 'unleaded petrol' indicator if required.)

I guess if you wanted to fit a fuel gauge it just has to follow the other rules.
(No sharp edges, etc.)

Good luck, Paul.

I've just re-read the IVA M1 2020 manual, and that's the same - fuel level indicator is not required, but if it does have one (or a low-fuel warning light), it must work correctly, and should use a standard symbol to identify what it is.

Thanks for all the responses.
I think that sums it up.
Sorry for late reply, been on a boat with no internet.
