The stripe looks great.

It should really look the part when it is finished.

Good luck, Paul.

Still waiting for a few more decals but you get the general idea.

Just ordered the adaptors to trial fit these wheels.

Should be able to finish this later in the week.
I'll smoke it about a bit then get it on E-Bay.

In total there are 2 bolt rear of the hump, 4 bolts at the rear of cockpit all bolted to a steel frame. 4 bolts fixed through the bulkhead frame and a few screws along the sills. There is no movement in the body yet.

Really like the way the stripe continues through the tonneau cover.

So do I.
I will try and make a similar one for the drivers side maybe out of blue and orange vinyl

Nearly there.

Hope to be fitting the brake up-grade, black wire wheels and grill over the next few days.

Micky1Mo - It looks great now, but adding your black wire wheels will really top it off.

Will the number plate stay behind the grille?

As I've seen that done on a number of cars, but don't know what the rules are?

Good luck, Paul.

It'll be putting the number plate outside of the grill as it's difficult to see behind.

Fitted the brake up-grade.
Couldn't resist the yellow paint against the black wires .

I'll add more details to the brake up-grade thread later.

Grill now mounted.

The grill is a copy of the original "beer crate" style but much lighter as it's made of aluminium instead of steel.

Do you have a price for selling these aluminium grilles?
Quite fancy using one instead of my steel unit.

Micky1Mo - A beer grate grille always makes these cars look mean.

Now you need to drive the car to a nice country house/hotel/church for some "glamour shots".

Enjoy turning heads, Paul.

PS
Those front indicators look like a good solution for the sloping bodywork.

Just added a few finishing touches.
Wheel trim tape, looks better from a distance.

.

Hard and soft Tonnaeu covers, chrome wind screen surround and mini side repeaters .

I have also fitted a bar across the cockpit to A, support the hard tonnaeu and B, to assist in getting in and out of the car.

The pair of crash helmets are just a bit of functional fun.

Will be posted on E-Bay next week but for now it's on car and classic web sit. http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C684136
