Munky - Just to be clear…

I wasn't questioning the integrity of the light blue car's build, as I think it looks incredible.

So my apologies if my comments came across that way.

It was more that I would love to see an interior that looked like an old Gentleman's Club.
( This is a restored Type 57S Atalante that featured in 'Classic & Sports Car' magazine. )



As for your question in general…

I think you could have both great paint and chrome on the outside, but a "lived in" interior.

The logic being that as a proud owner, you would like to keep the bits other people see shiny…

But if the seat had moulded itself to your shape over years of use to be perfectly comfortable then why would you change it?
