i was suprised to see so many body parts. But if you'd find all body parts... You've spent a lot of money. Guess what i do not have enough. As said in the about section at
http://www.daartechniek.webs.com its a project in the mental healthcare. I need every cent i can find.
Thanx for the tip though...

Hi, having spent a lot of time in France and also involved with motorsport over the years I have seen lots of these and love the looks of the Alpine. I think you are making a fantastic job of this and look forward to regular updates. Keep up the good work.

still busy with the project eventhough i post less and less. if you are still interrested i've made a facebook page. just look for daartechniek and become a friend. uploading is so much easier via phone.

atm doing the doors, so the rubbers can seal it and keep me dry. the boot has taken shape and fits quite nicely. hopefully this summer it gets its colours. but the "small" thing are not so small expressed in time.

hopefully see you on facebook ( daartechniek )

cheers iwan

How do you smoothe the internal corners?

not exactly understand your question. i think you mean to ask if i smoothed the inside of the body, like the enginecompartment and passengercompartment. the answere is yes. every rough or sharp edge i could reach with the tools are smoothed. it does not take that long to do and it prevents cutting your hands open a 100 times later on.

a shame to finish it this far and bleeding out when fitting the seats

edit:
where did my mind go when reading that question. reading a question was a bit too much to ask at that time of day i guess.

how did i smooth the internal corners:
I almost never did. welding it at a correct temp and wirespeed leaves a nice inward curved weld and the bodyfiller solves the rest. when it was absolutely necessary that it was smoothed, i took a grinder or a pengrinder, but mostly i covered it with a little bit of bodyfiller.
when you know you're going to cover something with filler later, leave the weld a little bit lower than the sheet. no need to bother with grinding it later.

sorry for the previous brainfart
