Default what's the smallest tire size for this rim?

hi,
some years ago, i bought a set of 2th hand wire rims. 15inch x 4.5inch, from an MGB as i remember, and was fitted with 155R15 tires.
during the time, i changed a bit my mind about the size of tires. now i believe the car (vintage style) will look better with a bit smaller (width) and bigger diameter tires (wall). anybody can help me to understand wich sizes i can (reasonably) use without change the rims?
thanks,
David

You might get away with a 135 x 15. They are still available as they are used on the 2CV. Good quality ones are expensive though. Try one of the 2CV specialists.

Default Tyre Size calculator

Have you tried one these tyre size calculator sites?

This an example:

http://www.etyres.co.uk/tyre-size-calculator.htm

Type in what you have, and then try what you would like to compare.

The problem could then be availability.......................
