thank you for the welcome.
Mike , thanks for giving us the time today to go through it all. I bet you thought we were never going to go ! it was great to see a finished body and one being made , gives me the confidence on the layup etc. As I was saying to you earlier I bought a Banham 550 kit years ago and it was shockingly bad. the fiberglass had so many voids in it , yours look fantastic.
it was a long drive down from Blackburn but worth it.
Roland said on the way back he was going to give it some thought - didn't take him long did it ? He only came along to keep me company !

Well hi there Fifties Fan. Congratulations on setting out on the path to true enlightenment.

What we all like on this forum is lots of photographs and endless trivial details about how the build's going, so make sure you budget some time to keep all your new friends updated on progress

What are you planning - engine/colour/interior, etc? I started with a fairly clear idea in my head of what I wanted - a six pot fusion of German Silver Arrow and Italian thoroughbred - and ended up building this

Good luck with finding a suitable donor and I look forward to seeing some fast progress on another fifties inspired racer.

Mister Towed. I have been reading about your build . I have been guesting on here for a little while before registering , doing my homework so to speak.
you have created a great little car.
not sure of colour etc yet , was going to maybe do a dark red/ light maroon , Maserati type colour with tan interior but its early days.

not yet, Red seems to be the "in-thing" for a 32000 euros car!

I quite fancy the Aston Martin blue that is on a G-46 in this forum.
That is probably what I will end up with...

Hey Mike - can I order the Maserati grille please

It's a 300S, one of three that were running at Snetterton at the end of September. Great day out for us Norfolk Spyder owners with Phil J, Barry and I all making the journey together, and loads of inspiring cars in the pits.
