Default Instrument sensor adapters

What adapters do I need to fit the temp and oil pressure sensor that come with the Marlin instruments to my M20 BMW engine?

Marlin said get them from Europaspares, but couldnt be specific about exactly what I needed.

Default Sensors

To start with you will need to know the thread sizes on the sensors and those on the block. The BMW ones will almost certainly be metric wheras for some reason the aftermarket instrument makers often seem to use imperial.

I guess for the oil pressure you will need a t-piece the screws into the existing take off for the oil pressure switch. For the temperature I guess you can probaly replace one of the two BMW sensors - one is used for the ECU (brown connector I think) and the other for the tempearture gauge.

Default

I order the ones I needed today after spending several hours figuring out what I needed.

I didnt have the right tools need to measure the threads on the Marlin sensors, but a google search on the part number located on the pressure sensor revealed 1/8"x27 NPT.

I've ordered 12mm x 1.5 T piece for the oil sensor along with a 12mm x 1.5 to 1/8" NPT adapter. And a 14mm x 1.5 to 1/8Tx27 NPT adapter for the water temprature.
