How did you shorten it? Did you cut and re-weld it? If so, unless you are 101% confident about your welding I would get it professionally done.
In the bad old days of kit cars when there was much more DIY I believe there were a few "Accidents" caused by DIY prop shortening.
Even if you are confident about your welding and the alignment I would get it balanced. A small amount of unbalance can cause a lot of vibration/force when it is going round at 7000 RPM!
