Default First Drive!

Well first drive up and down the garage block which is private land!

Last weekend I finally fixed the floors and bleed the brakes and clutch.

Finished off a bit of re-wiring today, fixing the looms in their final position, so thought i'd give the car a quick spin!

The videos are not brilliant, being filmed on my sons phone, but if you look closely you can see my big grin and you can hear me laughing after I spun both rear wheels on one of my get aways.

My garage block is a bit of an obsticle course with puddles and dumped stuff!
I aslo think my tappets need adjusting but plenty of power to spin those old donor tyres.

Awesome!

You kept running out of space though. You could tell that you where dying to go through the barrier and out onto the road

Wow that sounds awesome! Almost like a V8! Interestingly it got that typical M20 tapping on idle. I like the in car cam (you can really see you giving it WOT on the last run )

I'm itching to go for a drive round the block in mine, but I just know that if I did the plod would be there or someone would hit me.

Thanks, guys. I'm still grinning !

It was like the car just wanted to break free and go through that barrier into the big wide world.

I can't afford to risk it though, imagine.......
no SVA, no registration, no insurance, no road tax, no number plates, no seat belts, no petrol cap, no mudguards, etc, etc

Mr plod would have an o****m writing out the tickets!

Everything seemed to work OK but one small problem confirmed, but ill start a new thread on that.
