Default 5" Stainless Driving Lamps on eBay

Has anyone fitted these? They're a damn sight cheaper than the ones that match my headlights from SVC, but I'm worried that they may not look right.

WIPAC are a decent brand IIRC.

The SVC ones are the nicest if you can afford them.

I opted for some cheap'ish aftermarket ones off ebay. I think they were about £25 and they are nicely chromed but probably only cheap steel shells. They have flat backs so not a perfect match for the SVC headlights but don't look out of place to most on-lookers. No sign of any rust spots yet. I think they were a Maxtel brand or something like that.
The ones you've found look good because they are stainless but i'm not sure the clear lenses will go with your SVC headlights and the retro BRG look you're planning?

Yeah - that's the problem... My eyes and my heart say SVC, my wallet says eBay!

Mind you, I'm getting a bit peeved with SVC. I still haven't got my replacement torpedo indicators. Apparently the die that they stamp them out with has collapsed, and they're having to retool!

I only bought them back in May... we're over half way to September now.

I noticed that the Wipac ones appear quite often on ebay - mainly 'cause they are fitted to the new Mini I guess. I was going to buy some myself but I haven't got a roundtuit. Personally I don't think anyone will notice they don't match the SVC ones.

I'm tempted by the "I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY'RE NOT CIBIE" driving lamps on the SVC site. I used to have 4 Cibies on the front of my rally Escort. - though on cost basis I'll probably have to go for the Wipac lights.

Bugger it. I've just bought the ones from 5 3/4" ones from SVC. Damn me and my expensive bloody tastes!
