Gaz, that is a great video and the "slow down!" instruction for the corner was spoken like a real professional navigator!

Excellent work though mate, hope mine is not too far away and I can add my shakedown video to the library!

Did you attract much attention in the pub car park?

Great vid and lovely looking car!

The best bit was the "arrrgghhh" from your other half as you went over a bump just before you got told to slow down I know that feeling only too well as i still scare myself when hitting bumps as i know that i built the car and i worry more about what it may shake loose

No problem Gary, feel free to use it. The weather is looking good this coming week so I can get a better one if you like.

Im 90% sure that I have just secured a Scimitar SE5 donor. I think that its going to need some work but I will probably be contacting you this week to order a G46.

Well after months of pleasure building the Spyder and 170 miles of driving pleasure ive listed the car for sale. I really would love to keep it but getting made redundant last month and a job prospect working abroad (not a place that I would be driving a sammio around!) I just dont know how much chance I would get to drive it. I also love the G46 which I intend to have built so dont have the space for both cars anyway.
I really do think that when my work life is more stable I will build another as its been great fun and a good way to de-stress so I will still be around the forum to take note and steal others ideas.

Looks good in the ebay listing. Shame it's got to go but best of luck selling it and I hope you get the price you want.

And good luck with the job search too.

Shame, but an understandable decision!

Best of luck with the sale matey and if you don't mind i think there are a few people on here who'd be interested in what you finally do get for it (if you don't mind sharing?)

The red one my neighbour just sold went to Switzerland for 6800....we got 7000 for 66 , a few have made 6000+ , I think the worst one we had , some not so great mods went for 5300

I think a decent example will always make 6000+ .....a Vitesse engine example should add at least 1000 to that , maybe more...

G46 is worth £20K plus, spread the news...

Good luck with the sale and your future. I have been in the same place but you will get through

My heirs will be wondering what my Spyder will fetch. I know you should never say never, but I'll never sell my Spyder...
