Default Ford 2.3 Ultima Engine Conversion

HI, I have just registered on the forum, I am interested in building a Kit Car this year. Not sure what to get but I fancy using an Ultima 2.3 Ford Engine.

I have grown up around classic Escorts and Granadas etc.

I have the engine and a carb conversion but I have a couple of old ford Pinto boxes, 4 and 5 speed. Could someone please tell me what clutches, flywheel and starter motors are compatible, I do have a pinto flywheel, I have heard Mondeo stuff works.

Thanks in advance.

Trouble with mondeo is it may be dual mass, i dont know but my gut reaction would be that you might need a custom flywheel, if so then TTV are the people i would talk to,

locostbuilders would be my first point of call? the DOHC engine isn't used much there as it's quite tall and doesn't produce much power compared to the zetec or duratec.
