Default Interior trimming - they are having a giraffe!

I was passing an car interior trimming shop on the way back from a meeting today so thought I would stop in for a quick chat and to see if I could nick any good ideas. They had a couple of ideas which mean I might change my centre console slightly but it was their prices that mademe choke a bit.

The following are for re-trimming in black leather. The leather is from their low-mid range so not trhe best stuff.

Seats - £390 + VAT Each This wasn't too bad I guess
Door cards - £250 + VAT Each This seemed a lot
Windscreen Surround - £180 + VAT This is fiddly and time consuming apparently
Centre Console - £200 This is to replace the metal piece I have there and leather clad the bits of wood I put in. It doesn't include the £40 +VAT Each for the gear stick and hand brake gaitors !!!

I may brush up on my sewing skills

Try Brockwell Bros in King's Lynn.

They do great work at realistic prices. My seats, head rest, cockpit edge trim and door cards came in at £500 in black leather, and they charged me another £144 for a fitted tonneau in top quality red mohair.

Car Interiors of New Milton .
Only about 10-15 miles from you . Guys a Hot Rodder with dozens of magazine feature cars behind him and knows his stuff.
He is VERY realistic on his pricing as well.

I fancy this to give the interior a different look.
