Default What have you collected whilst building your car?

I was so impressed with Scottie's fantastic collections that I'm sure he won't mind me starting this by volunteering his two spectacular efforts -

Er I've tried various headlight and taillight arrangements. Mainly from the bm mini. Door handles etc. Classic mini bumpers.

Default Collections

Down the years, and various (kit) cars I have collected a whole host of exhaust clamps, exhaust pipe and hose clips.
For tools, if all of my pairs of pliers were put together in one place- I'd be embarrassed.
I could also start a stainless steel fasteners business- hex, button head, csk- you name it; mainly M6 and M8. Always cheaper by the 100.

In common with Dave Cymru (probably) I now have a heap of tried and discarded radiators, miles of coolant hose and loads of now empty antifreeze containers.

<snap> I seem to have collected far too much cooling related tat. Rads, fans, and miles of pipes!

Also nuts-n-bolts by the half hundredweight! When I started the Sammio years ago all the beards gave me the same advice, you can never have too many nuts-n-bolts and I seem to have taken that to heart. Although I can still never find the exact one I _need_, when i need it no matter how I sort them
