Default tribute insurance

apology if this is in the wrong place but I could not find insurance under a heading, I have just ordered a mx250 from Chris and I was wondering the best place to insure it when built and poss before if I ever find a good donor car and what should I expect to pay.

Hi Andy, I posted a question about MX insurance a couple of months ago and the replies I got were a company called A plan or Adrian Flux, I've just brought a Finished MX that needs a refurb, once it's done I'll post what quotes I get. I had a Brabus smart roadster before and the quotes from Adrian Flux were outrageous so A plan may be a better option

nice one thanks watch Adrian flux,I paid in full on a corsa £380 bad area moved house to a much better area and they told me it would cost me more to insure because of the area was worse . WHAT, it cost me something like £80 to cancel I still banked 250 and got insurance cheaper with a other company and paid in full with the money returned. don't pay in full with them unless its peanuts.

Hi Danny, is your car an agreed value or is it just based on the car being an old mx5?

Default update on insurance

funny enough I called adrian flux today I have got 20 years on Danny and it was the same quot. the auto extra and keycare I did not ask for and he said they were included but if you look at the policy they charge you for them and a admin fee of £65. the agreed value I asked for was 6to7K. flux2.jpg

Danny I feel is a shrewd operator, either that or kit cars and there owners are treated the same, a one price fits all kind of thing. I should be getting quotes some time in the next week or so, just as soon as my steering wheel turns up.
