Default Potential Noobie

Hi all I gather the Pilgrim Bulldog holds a place in some of your hearts. I am off to look at one tomorrow which is going VERY cheap! Don't know much about it except it is a mk3, 1300 marina engine on Jag wire wheels, complete, lots of old mot's but has been garaged for last 3 years. I'm finding it difficult to find any in-depth info on the kit. Any help would be gratefully received!
Thanks in advance.

Welcome aboard monkeydog

I think this one is best left to Den to answer for obvious reasons.

Come along Den.....

kitcarman is your best bet for info on this car.

I very much doubt anyone else knows as much as he does about Pilgrim Bullbog's.

Did somebody call?

I know a tincy-wincy bit about Bulldogs!

Now, Marina based. Means it was supplied as a kit (by yours truly) between Feb 1985 and around 1992.

Exactly what do you want to know?

Hi Den, I've now bought the beastie! I've got no details with the car except mot's going back to 1991 in Nottingham. It is a 2 seater-(ie no doors) Seats are shot, soft top shot but frame is ok, boot has a crazy paving effect, but what do you expect for £100 ?? Any old build manuals (scans?), care/looking after bodywork, what can I do about cracked/crazy paving finish? Not much; just everything/anything!
BTW, the Badge on the bonnet says "Nelly", if that jogs anyone's memory.
Now I am a bona fide noobie, I'm really looking forward to getting this beastie on the road for summer. (with a little help
Graeme
