Nice idea - what's the going rate?

However, I'm guessing that with the "precision" parts provided, we'd be better making our own formers that followed the individual tubs....
Did somebody mention boat building?

but why?????

That's awsome!

Now all it needs is some candy stripe wings that fold out, and a different reg number... GEN 11, perhaps?

Talking of boat building, who's got the ark moulds at the mo? I guess I'll be needing to make up some planking at some point...

Several years ago, when I was building wooden boats as a hobby, I went to a show and someone had built a "7" style kit car the body of which was entirely made from wood - just like the Austin 7 in the picture. I am sure I must have a picture somewhere....

How did that get through IVA?

I'm guessing it wouldn't need an IVA, as it'll already have been registered as the original Austin 7. It just needs to get through an MOT.

Nah, everybody should be forced to go through IVA every time they modify a car.
BTW locally there was a furore in one of the local papers because some crusty old Major was forced to remove a huge mascot from the bonnet of his car. Looking at the photo of it it could have decapitated an elephant in an accident.
