That's my guess. There are only two photos of Jeff's finished car on this site now. Looking for modifications to window/doors, etc.
Once upon a time it was all here.

Thinking is bad! May get a Tribute 250SWB coupe kit sent across the pond to do a bespoke chassis, may as well do it all! Think Karmann Ghia windscreen, very close to the real deal. Major mods not intimidating.

How true, after thinking I could mix and match some panels, it advanced to wondering if I could be a lot more adventurous and get Chris to do it. Bingo!

Jeff & Lancelot's rear window modifications took the look of the coupes to a new level. When you consider the cost of the donor, kit and time, I would think it madness not to do the rear window modification.

Totally agree with the rear window mod. I can fab a sheet metal pattern for Lexan easily. Also have a friend with a big oven to form it.

[QUOTE=Paul L;91560]Alex - Your car looks great.

And no traces of the hay you picked up yesterday.

I've also rotated the photos of your car and Dave's Miglia.

Thanks Paul, don`t know why they were round the wrong way, I haven't quite mastered the art of adding photos just yet

No worries, I've been playing with computers and forums for a lot longer than I've been building cars.

Molleur - Two things:
Link to Gary’s SWB build with rear window and lots of other nice mods here:
http://www.madabout-kitcars.com/foru...ead.php?t=6003

It would appear Jeff has deleted his build thread following his post about copyright laws here.
https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/...f=30&t=1680653

Gary – Apologies for the thread hijack.

To make up for it, I flagged your original Formosa thread to JG so he can move it into this section.

Looks like all your hard work on this kit is starting to pay off.

Good luck, Paul.

I have spent the last few weekends addressing the interior of the car, I have lined the bulkhead with thin striped rubber matting also the footwells, gearbox housing and the bottom runners each side of the seats, also put some on the top of the tunnel with some angled aluminum strips with double rubber inserts. I have also added some nets to the door interiors plus added some small patches of rubber next to the nets in between the tubular framework which to me shows the framework better than the flowcoat red. I have also lined the boot space. I am very pleased with the outcome

The final picture shows a drawing of the car a mate of mine did from a few photos I sent him of the car in my garage , the attention of detail is really good so if any one would like a drawing of your car let me know and I can give you his details , its £50 per drawing either colour or black & white including the frame

A couple more little touches, put some chrome trim around the perspex headlight dishes and also along the top of the windscreen ( not easy to see in the photo) it certainly adds to the overall look of the car

Its a bit fiddly but the edge strip is supple enough to follow the contours, I started by threading some cable through the strip first then as you go round the cover you pull out the cable as you go which opens up the gap so its easy to push onto the edge, E Bay edging strip I bought link below
