Box of Frogs mad. I love it. Wish I had a trailer so I could transport it for you as it'd really turn some heads.

Cheers Mr T, it is a bit mad!!
Although I think it would just blend in with all the other cars there

Wait until next year and take it finished in some lurid metalflake finish!
How does it get through the MOT with no wipers or is it just a case of removing the bubble?
Loving the build

I'll be able to drive with the dome raised.
So similar to a Lotus 7, where you can see over the screen, I can see under the screen, hence no need for wipers.
Truth is, I think anything over about 10mph the dome will lose the rain water, fairly easily.
Glad you like it, a 'marmite' car that's for sure!

I got the standard VW front wheels narrowed (anti-banded) to 3" wide.
Shot some black on them this afternoon.
With a chrome dome hub cap they should look ok.
Spun ally Moon Discs for the rear.
Sounds weird, but sanded the 'lettering' off the tyres and will add the cars name 'Agent Thor' in true 60's style to the walls.
At the stage now where I need to make the V5C changes!!

Brilliantly absurd. Well done, and it was nice to meet you at Stoneleigh.

Hey Barber, was great to meet up with you too.
It is a little 'absurd' this one, not a 'normal' kit car build, that's for sure!

Cheers Dpaz, they are kinda weird looking, but work well with the torsion arm suspension.
Had a play with some flake, this is over a black base, might try silver.

Loving this build. Mad is good.
Debanding steels I didn’t know that was a thing

Neither did I, maybe I've started something!?!
The VW bolt pattern is not that common, so wheel selection is difficult, so made sense to change what I had.

I am getting there slowly!!
Purchased the car in March 2018, not too bad, considering had a month off in Australia and another month off for heart operation!

Cheers Redrat, it is a bit 'out there' and to be honest, I'm surprised at the reception.
Thought there would be some negativity, because it is so different.
