Sanding
I have just started sanding. I have been wearing a mask some of the time.
Now my nose doesn't work - is this normal?

No problem at all, you donot have to smell , but to feel if the surface is smooth and without scratches , gauches or little holes etc.

Gave it a couple if days off and use a mask ALL the time.
I can now smell things again, my nose doesn't hurt and I can breath through it.

I know the feeling. I filled and sanded for about 3 months. Agony.

We should have a badge/club for people who've painted their cars themselves and have lived to tell the tale

I was sanding in my driveway today. The neighbourhood seems to be going downhill, all my neighbours cars are dusty.
They should make the effort and wash their cars regularly.
