Thanks for all your advice. I will try and clean bezels, i think its just rubber that has turned to liquid? I may just leave the leaf out and be a bit lower, and i have already bought a complete set of outriggers, but thanks for the offer.

Hmm, nice, but $118,000 when you could have twenty Sammio's for that? I don't think so.

Afraid not, work's getting in the way at the moment. Progress should be resumed after the weekend.

That Lucra is very pretty, and there are certainly a few ideas that can be re-used on a Sammio
Based on recent observations from Stoneleigh I'll duck my head after saying this, but i even like the amount of dials and switches they have!

Oh well, we're nearly there once again... it does come round, quickly. This weekend will be Allotment, painting and car.

Good find Gary! Lovely images, my favorites were these!

I love this speedo!! It gives the car that proper 'period' look
Gorgeous looking car!! I like the idea of the left headlight surround and the bonnet scoop!
Love the idea of these leather straps on the bonnet!
Christ Garry and Mike have been very busy over the last few decades !

Sticking with my current keeping-things-simple theme, i especially like the block of wood as a foot mat so that the driver can reach the high up pedals!

I started to shotblast some parts today, and strip down the head.

Question
The rockers look worn? but can any of the mechanics out there tell me if they are too worn!

Should i replace the whole rocker assembly as i am reuilding the head.

second rocker from the left is fubar'ed! i think a new rocker assembley would be on the cards if it was my build, if that one has got that bad the hardened surface of the others will not be far behind so changing just the one would imho be a false economy
