According to Dan there has been a lot of interest and pre orders, including for the yet to be developed, convertible version.

Looks like the hard top kit is now available . The Tribute Facebook page is today showing the complete kit package, items included and prices.
I emailed Dan last week about the convertible version, they plan to start on that in a few weeks time.

Looks great. $4,995 plus vat.
The kit looks pretty complete for body parts including headliner panels etc.

Looks good - Does anyone know what the VAT is? Not such a daft question (I hope) as I believe tribute are (were?) on the reduced VAT scheme offered for smaller turnover.

Apologies for questioning, but is that an assumption you have made, of do you know it to be the case? AIUI a vendor can only charge the customer the %tage of VAT which they (the vendor) have to pay to HMRC.

Tribute - Great job getting the new kit out.
Barber - Does this mean your car is done?
Cheers, Paul.

The one detailed on FB is mine. Chris is starting the build this week. I decided to go the dark/midnight blue route as LLM suggested as i have the Calibre wheels and M3 wing mirrors.

Started stripping the donor down today and been looking at getting parts in ready.
I'm using my 2.2 face lift model, Had it 3 years so it was about time and ripe for conversion !
I'm going down the Resto Mod look with my build, period dark green metallic paint, big alloys, low profile tyres, lowered an inch or two.
Not sure about the interior at the moment, I'll just remove the obvious Z3 bits, fit a nice wood rim steering wheel and keep it simple with black trim through out.

A bit more inspiration, the lowered race car look ! Not sure what shade of green this is but I think its better than almond green !

I've got a few ideas for my build being a Resto Mod look that I'm after.
A few subtle changes around the front end and wheel and tyre choice, a bit
Fast & Loud, Gas Monkey style !! .
