Default Driving experience!

I'm off today to drive a Ferrari 360 and a Porsche 911 on a disused airfield.
It was my Christmas present from my kids.

I have never driven anything like this before so it should be interesting to compare with my Marlin Sportster

I hope you enjoy it.
My wife brought me a similar treat a while back, only drove a Ferrari, which had a brake pedal on the passengers side. I got the minder to start using it after a couple of bends because he thought I was going too fast.
Glorious noise from the engine at full throttle though.

Funnily enough she also bought me a single seater experince at Thruxton. We got to drive the instructor around first, and I asked as we left the pit lane how fast we could go. He said as fast as I wanted, but by the exited from the complex at the end of the pit straight he asked me to slow down. Not only that he wouldn't let me take it over 90 down the back straight.

Wow that should be a great thing to do actually. I remember having a similar experience though only with the brand Ferrari when I was able to snatch and win a promotional contest to allow someone drive their simulator at the Maranello factory.

It was a great feeling though no documentation is to be presented as now cameras were allowed inside the compound. Such a great feeling though nothing close to a real car.

Hope you had great fun!
I know a lass who has a metallic electric blue Porsche 911 3.8 with snappy shifts, shes a beaut. I always wanted one of them but my kids would probably keep the present to themselves than giving it out, my 2 lads take after me and my lvoe for speed
