Try to work This out,my friend drove his robin hood kit To my
Parents house, 25 miles, I then drove it 40 miles to my house, stopped along the way,got to my house stopped started it quite a few times, amp guard showed no need for alarm, had it. At my house for two months done some bits and pieces to it,had to jump start it the other day, wasn't charging, then noticed no wiring on the back of alternator, what the hell, rang my friend who said it has always run OK, just jumps it now and again cos he doesn't use it that often, any thoughts

Yes the cable thieves are getting less fussy!
We ran one of our race cars without an alternator for a season, it was a PITA as with a race battery it was touch and go on the last lap most races!
I can only think that the wiring is there but its fallen off and is hidden underneath or worst case has been ripped off, cant see it never having had the alternator wired up, unless you have a battery the size of the fuel tank!
