I think the only 250 swb owner on here who fitted bumpers is Smash. You will have to go back and read his thread. From what I recall they were made to measure , they were expensive , he wasn't happy with them and the workshop damaged his car whilst they were being fitted .

I was looking at trying to make some using plywood template and body filler for the short nose bonnet I have but never got around to it. I think Chris might have something lined up for the 275 which might act as a start for you

Andy - there are 3 with bumpers now: mine another Kali blue metallic (have a look on Nubodi site gallery) and a koupe that is going to have them.

LL@L is not quite right - very happy with my bumpers - the only thing they needed was final polishing by a specialist and look stunning. The damage to the nose was trying to get alloy mouth made - it was a push too far for a number of reasons not least because as we found out, the mouth is nowhere near symmetrical and this was massively highlighted. My fault for trying to get done after the car was painted.

The blue metallic Kalis rear bumper is chrome wrapped as I remember. The front bumpers are genuine ones on his.

Bottom line they're not for a budget build - I think Bonville are looking at 2k for custom built front and back but you'd need to ring them.

What about using cobra or similar over riders for splash of chrome?

Bit like an Ace 289

cheers smash 2k wow if its you pride and joy then then maybe but as you said this will be a budget build as it's not a keeper. I do like the look of the over riders at around 100 quid or 20 for used FORD CORTINA there's a bit of difference. also the petrol cap is a nice touch. andy

DNA do chrome sprayed GRP bumpers for the 2fifty. If they will sell you a set of unpainted bumpers it shouldn't be too hard to modify them and take a mold.
Have a chat with Brian at DNA, he is very helpful.

I would be very surprised if DNA sell any of their parts to anyone who hasn't got a DNA kit or build ....I might be wrong but I think part of how they protect their image and product is by being fairly exclusive ...

If you want some cheap over riders to give you the look of that AC ...Checkout 1200 Herald front over riders .....
