Default Forgotten Fiberglass

I don't know if anyone on here reads the Forgotten Fiberglass website , I have been a fan for years ...I love the old creations that were being built around , mostly , old Ford running gear back in the 50's by American's eager to own a European style Sports car !

This fairly recent addition is really interesting and makes our attempts to build S*mmio's etc. seem pretty straight forward in comparison !!

Good one! I've known Geoff for many years. Real deal on "Fiberglass Farms".

I follow him on facebook too ...and he regularly updates with short video's at his chosen restoration shop ...a guy called Dave Koorey ...it's really interesting ...its always amazing how basic some of those cars were considering they have various V8's of their era fitted !!

You should see "Fiberglass Farms" Several dozen 1950's kit cars under the trees just waiting. Most of that era kits were pretty crude. Back when you mixed your own polyester accelerators (Cobalt), etc.

One of my favorites, he sold it on. We were talking about splashing a mold from it but never happened. Darn!

Does he own the Maverick Speedster , Molleur ?

Absolutely stunning car ...really breath taking ... lots of custom touches from the time incorporated into a Sports Custom ...La Salle grille and bumpers , 49 Lincoln headlights ? - pretty sure they are as I had one years ago ......all perfect choices ...

I believe so. He showed it at the Amelia Island Concours two years ago. Think he still has it.
I do have all of the parts specs for the Allied Atlas and Swallow as well.

Were they based on a donor chassis or a mishmash of parts on a purpose. Hilt chassis?

Default Jarvis

Hi, brilliant information. I've always loved and built fibreglass specials. This is one I have just built, using Ford running gear. It has a tuned 1500 cc pre-cross flow engine and twin webers. It goes like stink and has great road holding capabilities. The name of the body is a Jarvis. Has anyone seen one of these before? Wonderful article and very inspiring.

Hi, The Jarvis came from New Zealand .It was built for hill climbing .It was of a number of two others and there are no more from that mould. The running gear is all Ford . I am glad you like it. Cheers, Neil.
