Thumbs up

Nice.

The car seems to be going well!

What was the ticking off for?

I did Keevil about 5 years ago in the Tiger Super Cat that my dad and I built together (2L Zetec). It was a really good chance to find ou how capable the car was - we were really surprised. Like you it was a wet track, but we found out that you could just keep pushing and pushing and the car stuck like the proverbial to a blanket.

I think the trackday was run by motorsport events, who were very professional and well organised. They used an open pit system, and you couldn't overtake on corners, so it was safe but you also got plenty of track time. The course was different to the one that you were driving though.

Anyway - looks like you had fun!

Yes, Mr Dry. What was the ticking off for? Was it because you were faster than everything else out there?

I was told off for overtaking the BMW at 5 min 40, and then not spotting the black flag that was held on my right, when heading into the sun..... not so much lack of observation, but impossible to see due to the glare.

I also ran over the edge of a cone, cutting a corner tight, but didn't move it.

Hey ho.... surely not trying hard enough, if you don't get a black flag?
